This award is dedicated to recognising a CIO who works in the public sector, demonstrating exceptional and ethical leadership and innovation in their role. The recipient should have demonstrated their ability to leverage technology to improve government operations, enhance citizen services, and drive digital transformation within their organisation.

Young CIO of the Year
This award is presented to a young CIO (40 years or younger) who has shown exceptional leadership, innovation, and vision in their role. The recipient should have made significant contributions to their organisation, driving digital transformation, and creating value through the use of technology.

Strategy & Leadership Award
This award recognises a CIO who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in developing and implementing effective IT strategies. The recipient should have a proven track record of aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, driving innovation, and achieving measurable results.

Digital Innovation Award
This award celebrates a CIO who has leveraged emerging technologies to drive innovation and create new business opportunities. The recipient should have a proven track record of implementing cutting-edge digital solutions, enabling their organisation to stay ahead of the competition.

Smart Data Award
This award recognises a CIO who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in leveraging data to drive business value. The recipient should have a proven track record of implementing effective data strategies, leveraging analytics, and creating actionable insights that have helped their organisation to achieve its objectives.

IT Project of the Year
This award celebrates a CIO, who has spearheaded a successful IT project that has made a significant impact on their organisation. The project should have demonstrated excellence in planning, execution, and delivery, and should have achieved measurable results that have contributed to the success of the organisation.

Cybersecurity Award
This award recognises a CIO who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in developing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies. The recipient should have a proven track record of safeguarding their organisation's data and infrastructure, protecting against cyber threats, and maintaining business continuity.

High-Performance Team Award
This award recognises a CIO who has built and led a high-performing IT team that has made a significant contribution to their organisation's success. The recipient should have demonstrated their ability to attract and retain top talent, foster collaboration and innovation, and create a culture of excellence within their team.
